There is so much to say about Alottasmoke, it is hard to fit on one page! This fantastic stallion had a great career on the track, starting in a total of 27 Graded Stakes races as a two and three year old. In those races, he won such coveted races as the Bluegrass Stakes, the Kentucky Derby, The Preakness Stakes, and the Magnolia Cup Classic. With an overall record of (43)14-4-7 and earnings of $2,910,450 he certainly proved himself to be one of the best horses racing at that time. He was not quite as successful at four and five years of age, but still topped $1 million in earnings each of those years. As a four year old, he also claimed the prestigious Trainers Cup Classic, which is a stats-judged race and at the time one of the biggest races in the Sim world. Throughout his career, he was a very consistant money-earner for us and just one of my all-time favorite horses. He started his racing career in the Sim game Shanandoah before moving exclusively to All-Sim in 2004 or 2005. Alottasmoke has been active in the Sim world since late 2002, first as a racehorse and later as a stud.
Alottasmoke came into existance when we bred our top broodmare, Winalot (who also had a very successful show career) to a popular stallion in the Sim game DREAM, Smoke Glacken. This stallion was a Sim "copy" of the real life stallion by the same name and had the same pedigree. However, the Sim Smoke Glacken had his own success in the game, winning many races and producing great racehorses. We were so pleased with Alottasmoke that we later repeated the breeding, producing another incredible Grade I winner in Impulsion Sim Game, Smokin Winner. Also, we bred Winalot to Smoke Glacken's sire, Two Punch, producing Breeders Cup Classic winner Alottapunch. This crossing of Winalot on the Smoke Glacken/Two Punch sire line brought us great success on the racetrack and in the breeding shed. Alottasmoke also has many other half-siblings out of Winalot who are Graded Stakes winners, including Alottafury, Hoarfrost, and Alottaelements.
When he retired from racing at age 5, Alottasmoke went on to become one of our top producing sires. He is the sire of our beautiful mare, Alottadrama, who had a very good career on the track, with a record of (41)9-10-3. She won six Graded Stakes races in her career on both dirt and turf, including the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. She also came in a close second place in the 2009 Kentucky Derby! Alottasmoke is also the sire of Chilling, a multiple Grade II winner with earnings of over $2 million and Alottasong (9)3-3-1, a Grade II winner with earnings over $1.3 million in just 9 starts. Alottatwist (now retired from Sim) was a Grade I winner on the track and claimed many big victories. Alottasmoke also has several other foals out of outside mares that I am currently searching for information on. Also, as of June 2012, Alottasmoke has INJC progeny earnings of $4,934,447 with just 4 runners. None of his foals have earned less than $500,000 on the track.
